Choosing to remain a small company ensures that we can provide a friendly and personal service, helping to create and build trusting relationships with clients as well as being able to deliver exactly what’s required.
Also being fully licensed & insured and utilising over 25 years of experience in residential, commercial and body corporate painting and wallpapering projects, PJL Painting & Wallpapering guarantee’s a professional finish with minimal inconvenience.
Having developed relationships with Dulux, Taubmans, Resene and Wattyl paint brands on the Gold Coast as well as with wallpaper stockists locally, in Brisbane and throughout Australia, with access to both European and Australian made designs, we’re sure we have all of your painting and wallpapering requirements covered.
Who we are
Pete
Beginning his career in Milton Keynes, England in 1999, Pete spent two
years renovating a large £3,000,000 manor house and seven years
completing a variety of residential, commercial and industrial insurance
renovation projects. This experience and knowledge provided the necessary
foundation to start and run his own company. Over 15 years, he acquired
over 100 separate positive reviews and enjoyed many client relationships
that spanned over a decade. He is one of only 90 Qualified Lincrusta
Wallcovering installers in the UK, has been invited to participate in Channel
5’s “60 minute makeover “ TV show and takes great pride in only having
arrived late to work twice in that time!
Pete is now the fully qualified and insured owner of PJL Painting &
Wallpapering and is proud to be helping out clients on the Gold Coast with
their painting and wallpapering projects.
Roy
From 1954, Pete’s dad Roy enjoyed a career in painting and wallpapering
that lasted over 60 years. Working closely on many projects, Roy shared a lot
of that knowledge and experience with Pete and helped build Pete’s
business before he sadly passed away after a short illness in early 2022. A
significant part of every one of PJL Painting & Wallpapering’s successfully
completed projects today, is because of Roy.
